The Houston Hurricanes FC announced today the signing of defender/midfielder Nathan Metoyer.
“We wanted to sign Nathan from day one,” Hurricanes President Brendan Keyes commented. “It took some time to get the paperwork done, but the hard work paid off and he is a Hurricanes player.”
“Nathan is a strong player with great potential,” Head Coach Thiago Reis added. “For such a young kid he has a good understanding of the game.”
“It’s a dream come true for me to play at this level,” Metoyer stated.
“Nathan and his family are really nice people,” Keyes continued. “They fit in with what we are all about and that’s to be one big happy family. We want to be the people’s team of not only Houston, but the whole country. We want to be the loved by all soccer fans for the way we conduct our business on and off the field.”
The first preseason game for the Hurricanes is March 30th versus the NASL San Antonio Scorpions.
“It will be a tall order,” Keyes concluded. “But one the Hurricanes will be up for.”
